My regular doc wanted me to see a surgeon quickly, which turned out to be today, despite the hour. The surgeon wants me to get a CT scan. I still don't know if I'll need an operation, but unless the symptoms get worse, it won't be for at least a few days.

I'm glad you got to the surgeon right away, in case you needed to be rushed to an OR, and I'm glad the surgeon didn't rush you to an OR.

If you get surgery, do you have any Junior Mints? I saw on Seinfeld that if you put a Junior Mint in the opening then it can be very beneficial.
