Seeking info on local UUs and local Humanistic (and related) Jewish congregations

Anyone know anything about the Unitarian Universalist congregations in Princeton, East Brunswick, and/or Somerville? Or on the Congregation for Humanistic Judaism of Morris County or a similar group in Highland Park of which I've heard?

No knowledge of them here. UU congregations can vary a lot in what they are like, from what I’ve heard.

The East Brunswick one used to be filled with nice, but very suburban people.

(Granted it was 12 years ago when I was last living in New Brunswick and I only went to that church for social events, not as a parishioner.)

I attended the one in Princeton for a while and it seemed pretty okay, but that was nearly a decade ago.

My experience of the Princeton one was that they wanted us, with a lot of pressure, to start tithing a full 10% to the church, immediately, they wouldn't watch my toddler for me during services unless I attended large amounts of church school meetings, they were very pretentious and didn't seem to be interested in spiritual experience. That was in 2001.

I've been to the CUUPS (pagan) group at East Brunswick once or twice and thought it was a good group. The only reason I didn't go back is that I'm involved in too many groups already.

They did watch my toddler (or was she a preschooler by then?) without any hassles that I recall. However, since you, barking_iguana, do not have a toddler to consider, I daresay that point is more or less moot.
