Date: 2011-08-21 04:09 am (UTC)Each district will elect a state senator and two members of the assembly. One of the GOP candidates for assembly dropped out at the last minute, having had second thoughts about the redistricting. So the GOP is running a write-in and a candidate on the ballot in a vote-for-two situation. The only incumbent is the GOP candidate for Senate, who's popular in the part of the district that leans GOP anyway, and is unknown in the more Democratic part of the district.

Date: 2011-08-21 05:02 am (UTC)How about asking your candidate to put up something on her web page about issues? I hate completely generic web pages. There must be several important New Jersey state issues that she could take a stand on.
What is her stand on marriage equality? Would she vote for it should it come up again, as it might very well (although perhaps not until she is re-elected)
