I think the Live Journal platform is superior to Facebook's for the kind of writing and interaction I want. But it's not where the most people are. So I've been putting more effort into collecting and often commenting on links I think people would do well to see and posting them on Facebook. When I have something longer to write, or something that needs more formatting, I post here rather than as a Facebook note, and a link shows up to it in Facebook.
