On a related note, if Obama decides to pick a woman governor, we can assume it will be Kathleen Sebelius, rather than any other name that's been bandied about but would be picking too many fights at one time.
Am I correct in thinking that in modern times, it has been rare for VP picks to have beards? If so, how does this affect the chances of say, Bill Richardson or Charlie Crist?I imagine Barbara Flavin (Richardson) is not amused at any possible confusion. I suppose Charlie's too scared to be amused, either, which is a shame.
