Dragged Down by a Sprained Ankle
Oct. 1st, 2007 08:27 pmJust so everyone knows, for the last few weeks i've been unable to stand for more than about 10 minutes without a lot of pain, I'm walking funny (which is building up pain away from the ankle that is the cause) and I've got background pain all the time, despite now being on Celebrex. And driving hurts, too. Being newly on the Clebrex, I didn't cancel Sunday plans that had me walking mroe than I had recently, which I think turned out to be a mistake.
I sprained the ankle in January, doing mild pernament damage, I was told. But damage that was supposed to lead to increased susceptability to future sprains, not constant pain. With physical therapy, the pain all but went away, but not quite. But in August, it started getting a little worse. Two weeks ago, it got a lot sorse and I don't know what the future holds.
