When I lived in New York, I voted the Working Families Party line. They endorsed worthwhile Democrats and when the Democrat was odious (a common occurance in NYC politics) they ran their own independent candidate.

I wish New Jersey allowed for smaller parties to have a line on the ballot and to cross-endorse, as New York parties can.

Thank you! I learned a few things from that post. I'm not nearly as well informed about New York lege politics as I should be, considering how much my income depends on it, partly because so much depends on the swamp in the Bronx, which I've often thought I'm happier not knowing about.
