I don’t think that analysis is quite right; in fact I think it is wrong. For one thing, even if you can’t radioize the Olbermann show, that’s just one show, and the one right after it, Rachel Maddow, radioizes quite well. More importantly, isn’t it more likely that people who listen to liberal talk radio become more habitually persuasive?

No, I think the right wingnuts are unpersuasive because, being reactionary, they are left behind now that our ‘society’ is visibly evolving. The things they say are ‘stimulating’ but ‘unpersuasive’ because they are full of crap, and you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.
