One Pissed Off Congressperson

Some Congressman (and yes, by the writing style I'm pretty sure it's a man) is pissed off enough about the stimulus package that he sent two anonymous letters to Matt Stoller of Open Left to be published there. They're not long and more worth reading than anything I'll say about them below.

I doubt the Congressperson will remain fully anonymous, and perhaps he doesn't care to, but want to not be so outrageous as calling Bean stupid without at least going through the motions of anonymity. Everyone mentioned, except Pelosi, is on the House Financial Services Committee. The writer probably is, too. The writer also has a self-professed immature image. And is clearly a liberal on economic issues. And it's not Barney Frank. That can't leave too many candidates.

Keith Ellison is on the committee, and one of the notes mentions bridges. The new bridge is in his district, I think, and he hasn’t been in DC long enough to be rendered mute.
