Why Huckabee rather than Brownback? Because Brownback's a Catholic. And he doesn't even have the excuse of being born into Catholicism. He was raised a Christian and converted to Catholicism. Eww!

I have to say that, as a thoroughly Wester atheist, I really don't understand that last full sentence. Catholicism is a subset of Christianity, or at least, it was last time I checked. Why do people insist on treating it as if it were some entirely separate religion? THen again, from where I sit, there's not much difference between any of the various Abrahamic religions.

Well, I didn't exactly say Catholicism wasn't Christianity, but from the perspctive of a lot of the American Taliban, it isn't.
