Newspeaking Us Into Another War

I still think the probability of yet another war is under 50%. But there are more people close to Bush pushing for it than against it.
The United States has decided to designate Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, the country's 125,000-strong elite military branch, as a "specially designated global terrorist," according to U.S. officialsThe publicly claimed reason is to stop anyone from doing business with the Revolutionary Guard. But now, anytime the Revolutionary Guard does anything, Iran can be claimed to be engaging in terrorist activity. By not immediately disbanding the Guard, Iran is harboring terrorists, etc.
