Re-Reading Rowling

Since I've only read each book once (I think) and not seen most of the movies, I decided to read at least some of them again before the last one comes out. I know there are lots of important details I forgot, and I'd rather have all the background fresh to make connections as I read the finale.

But I didn't expect to have my first surprise even before Harry gets delivered to the Dursleys. Hagrid delivers Harry to Dumbledore on Privet Drive on a borrowed motorcycle: borrowed from Sirius Black. I suppose y'all know that like you know your own birthdays, and think I'm foolish for not remembering it. But it was a fun revelation for me.

One of the things I like the most about rereading rich books like the Potter series is that, as in real life, there are cool little details like that that are easy to miss, or don't make sense, on the first read.
