I guess I'm slow

The household has In a Lonely Place on the TV and I saw a little bit. I was admiring Bogart, and trying to put myself in the position of seeing him as somebody in the middle of an acting career, not as an icon. And thinking that nobody now is rally like him, could play his characters and have them still be remotely the same characters.

And then it hit me: Jack Nicholson is almost exactly like him, and does play the same characters. I must be the last person on the planet to realize this.
